BOM & Routing Analyst - 12 Month FTC

We are currently looking for a This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, with an anticipated start date of beginning of April 2021. Reporting into the Costing Manager. The purpose of this job role is to ensure a proper cost allocation to the manufactured parts and correct costing method to the manufacturing processes. Identify, correct, maintain and report any variances on the costing updates on monthly basis. Track and update fundamental changes in the business system.

Your tasks:

  • To audit all billing of materials (BOMs) and routings for current customer programs and highlight any discrepancies.
  • To correct BOMS identified and record the action taken.
  • To correct routings identified and record the action taken.
  • Ensure accuracy of system master data.
  • Dealing with Customs queries and providing clearance approvals.
  • Updating the MFG System with pricing changes.
  • Monitor and report cost variances on a monthly basis.

Your profile:

  • GCSEs Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Good level of Excel knowledge (Lookups/Pivots/Formula Essential knowledge).
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, be able to prioritise workload to achieve this.
  • Accounting or Logistics Qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in a material/ production environment.
  • Prior Automotive/ Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience of the Manufacturing process, Logistics, MRP and Supplier Management.
