Senior NPI Plastic Process Engineer

Working in an international enterprise means growing with exciting projects and multiple opportunities in a great network. We are currently looking for a Reporting into the Programme Director. The Senior NPI Plastic Process Engineer will provide leadership within the NPI Engineering Department to support the development of injection moulded components from the enquiry phase through the design and tooling development phases to include the coordination and support for all Mould Trial activities up to formal Production handover. This role will provide key technical input to support the selection of Materials, Injection Moulding Equipment and Automation for NPI. The successful candidate will provide full technical support and leadership to the Injection Mould Tool Trial activities at home in the UK and Overseas.

Your tasks:

Demonstrate ability to lead small team of NPI Injection Mould Technicians.
Manage the planning and reporting of NPI Injection Mould Tool Trial progress.
Strong process engineering skills and knowledge with the ability to problem solve and implement innovative solutions.
Establish Process documentation to support SDS process.
To specify and allocate IMM and Ancillaries for New Project enquiries and introduction.

Your profile:

Minimum level HND/HNC in a related subject. Plastics Processing or equivalent recognised vocational training and experience.
PC literate Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
Previous experience in similar role.
Understanding of CAD and Injection Mould Tooling.
Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing Methods, OEE, Kaizen, DFMEA, PFMEA,5S etc.
